Physical & Chemical Properties

Easily soluble in water, aqueous solution neutral (pH 6-8), insoluble in ethanol. Density approx. 2.68 g/cm³, melting point 884°C, boiling point 1429°C. Effloresces in dry air; hydrates to form sodium sulfate decahydrate upon contact with water.

Product Features

High purity (≥98% or ≥99%), good flowability, low caking tendency, stable chemical properties, provides interfacial tension reduction and filling function.

Main Applications

Detergent / Laundry Powder : Key filler (20%-40% content), improves flowability, reduces dust, adjusts density.Paper Industry : Used in kraft pulping process, partially replaces caustic soda, neutralizes alkaline waste liquor.Glass Manufacturing : Acts as a fining agent, eliminates bubbles, improves transparency.Dyeing / Textile : Reducing assistant for sulfur dyes, cotton boiling agent, accelerator for direct dyeing.Chemical Raw Material : Manufacture of sodium sulfide, sodium silicate (water glass), ammonium sulfate, etc.Leather / Tanning : Used in chrome tanning and as tanning auxiliary.Pharmaceutical / Veterinary : Laxative (as decahydrate), excipient for antiallergic drugs.Feed Additive : Carrier and diluent for trace minerals.Others : Water treatment, cooling agents, antifreeze, metal smelting, etc.

Storage Condition

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, protected from moisture and rain; avoid mixing with acids and ammonium salts; keep sealed to prevent efflorescence.
